I DREAM OF JEANNIE: The Complete Series was released on Nov. 11 2008 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. This release includes a foil-embossed genie bottle containing all five seasons on 20 discs each featuring a still from the original opening animation. Plus, 55 collector's cards with never-before-seen photos, episodes synopsis, trivia and cast profiles. The DVD set comes in an elaborately decorated cardboard "bottle" that's a replica of the 1964 Jim Beam decanter that inspired the show's most famous prop. It's designed to be displayed on a countertop, table, or shelf. The kind of cardboard affair you'd see at point-of-purchase displays, it's 11 1/2" tall, 5 1/2" across at the widest spot, and 2 1/2" deep. The bottle has a hollowed-out bottom that holds an accordion-style round expandable file that contains all 139 episodes on 20 discs. A cardboard decorative stopper is included, along with a matching separate box that holds 55 roughly 3x4" full-color trivia cards with photo illustration and trivia snippet on one side and a description of three episodes on the flipside.

Guest stars from the show’s season include Sammy Davis, Jr., Groucho Marx,
Dabney Coleman and The Munsters’ Butch Patrick, and episodic highlights
include “Always on Sunday,” “My Incredible Shrinking Master” and
“Jeannie Breaks the Bank,” in which Jeannie’s efforts to give Tony a
much-deserved raise arouse the suspicion of auditing authorities. A

Jeannie: The Complete Second Season’s four discs. The series is presented
in color in 1.33:1 full screen (its first season was broadcast in
black-and-white, and available on DVD in its original form and a colorized

Portugal and Spain, as those countries, too, rate their own audio tracks and
optional subtitles. There are no supplemental extras. This 4-DVD set runs 553 minutes and includes all 31 episodes in

The Complete 1st Season
I DREAM OF JEANNIE The Complete 1st Season was released from Sony on March 14, 2006. The DVD set will be released in two versions - The Complete 1st Season: In Color and The Complete 1st Season: Black & White.
On hand in Light Source & Imagery's 15-minute featurette is 89-year-old Sidney Sheldon, the show's producer and creator, who explains the financial squeeze that forced him to produce the first season in black and white at a time when most other TV series were making the jump to color. Eden, Hagman and co-star Bill Daily also contribute to the featurette (as well as a commentary on the pilot episode), offering the little known fact that Eden was pregnant during much of the production of the first season and that clever camera placement and a couple of well-placed veils kept her delicate condition under wraps. The 4-DVD sets run 178 minutes with a suggested retail price of $39.95. The video is in the original full-frame, and audio will be in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese.
